Custom profile products are extrusions designed to address customer’s specific needs. With over 50 years experience in plastic manufacturing, R&M, can help fulfill your needs with our dual extrusion and triple extrusion capabilities, which can provide up to 3 different materials or colours per part.
We work with our customers to make sure that when their parts leave here, they are exactly how the customer needs them. We can drill, cut, print, package and assemble your parts to best suit your application. Quality is always the top priority on every project.
Dual and Triple Extrusions are running two or three different materials or colours in one extrusion. For example, a part may require a rigid section with a flexible hinge and a rigid section. This allows us to do that.
Tubing extrusions are making a long round profile and cutting it to length. We work with companies of all sizes from startups to large house brand corporations from small to large scale runs.
Plastic Tubing Extrusions
Tubing extrusions are round profiles that are cut to the desired length. At R&M we can create these to be normal round tubing or corrugated tubing depending on what is required.
A vacuum forming process is used to ensure the exact dimensions are met throughout the extrusion process.
Polymer Extrusions
Polymer extrusions are a set face profile in many shapes and cut to a desired length. These objects can be round, square, rectangle. and many more complex shapes.
The polymer is then put into the selected die which creates the desired shape which hardens after it cools.
PVC Plastic Extrusions
PVC or Polyvinyl Chloride is a type of plastic that is easy to extrude into a profile shape and is available in Rigid PVC’s (RPVC) or Flexible PVC’s (FPVC).
PVC extrusions are found in many displays and advertising, signs, and window and door profiles. It is also used in many different industries including construction, plumbing, furniture, and gardening.
At R&M Plastics, we use as much re-processed material as possible. Often times we can use 100% recycled materials to keep the plastic in the product and out of the landfill.
Combining Plastic Extrusions With Aluminum Extrusions
Many times plastic extrusions are required to work with aluminum extrusions. They provide great features to snap in for signs and displays, can be used to clip other parts on or can be used as a bearing surface. They also can provide nice finishing edges to work in conjunction with aluminum extrusions.

R&M Plastics has experience extruding almost all thermoplastics excluding cross-linked polymers. Here is a list of the most common materials we extrude; ABS, Acrylic, Nylon, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polystyrene, Polyurethane, PVC, and TPE & TPV (Santoprene).
